Bishop Dickie Robbins

Bishop Dickie L. Robbins is a dynamic visionary, community leader, preacher, public speaker, teacher, author, husband, father, and grandfather. Of all of the significant roles he fulfills, the most important to him is husband, father, and grandfather. Married to Tina L. Robbins, they have three children and thirteen grandchildren.

Along with his wife, Tina, Bishop Robbins is the founder and current Senior Pastor of Life In Christ Ministries in Chester, Pennsylvania. He embraces the concept of holistic ministry which is designed to address the total person, body soul, and spirit with emphasis placed on evangelism and social justice. He has a vision not just for localized ministry, but global outreach. Accordingly, he has involved Life In Christ with supporting ministries in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Born in Mobile, Alabama, he moved to Chester, Pennsylvania in 1967 and was educated in the
Chester-Upland School District. After graduating from Chester High School in 1975, he immediately left the area to begin his undergraduate learning at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.

Bishop Robbins has a B.S. in Human Services from the University of Delaware, a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry from Chesapeake Bible Seminary, and is currently pursuing another Master’s Degree from Bryn Mawr College. Having been called to the ministry as a very young man, he began equipping himself with taking coursework relevant to his vocation. He attended The Center for Urban Theological Studies and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (which is now Palmer Theological Seminary).

He is the author of the books No Sudden Change, Wisdom from the Word (a 90-Day Spiritual Devotional), Nature’s Praise, Economic Empowerment (the Journey from Poverty to Prosperity). Bishop has lectured and participated in panel discussions on college and
university campuses around the country. Bishop Robbins considers it his assignment to strengthen families and provide marriage and pre-marital counseling. He believes that it is his assignment to help people under his influence discover and embrace the greatness and excellence resident inside of them.

Pastor Tina Robbins

Tina and Bishop Dickie Robbins were married in 1984 and they moved to Pennsylvania in 1985 to pursue a vision that God had given him. She had no plans to do anything but love and support her husband…that was it! Because of her past abuse, she was just grateful to be loved by someone who meant her no harm and had no sinful expectations of her. Being thankful that God loved her enough to allow her to keep on living, she was willing to do whatever He asked her to do. When she moved to Chester, Pennsylvania, she did it knowing that it was the will of God for her. She didn’t come to fulfill a vision for herself; she came to support her husband.

Between the “We’re Moving to Pennsylvania” and the “Can You Come Preach”, a lot has happened. God has done some wonderful things in her life. She was promoted and ordained Elder in 1999. She and her husband, Bishop Dickie Robbins, are the Founders and Pastors of Life In Christ Cathedral of Faith. Pastor Tina Robbins is driven by a passion to bring pleasure to God. A joy for Elder Robbins is helping women learn and love who they really are. She shares messages of inspiration that are empowering for all who need hope. She’s very transparent about her journey of rebellion; she embraces the Word of God, which assures us that… “We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony”. She allows her life’s testimony to be used as a deterrent for some and to offer hope to others.

With a keen sense and awareness of spiritual warfare, she understands how the adversary would attempt to use her past against her. Pastor Tina remains hidden under the blood of Jesus. God, the Father, has forgiven and cleansed her of all unrighteousness, so the weapons of the Devil, regret, guilt, and shame don’t intimidate her.

During this current season, Pastor Tina has taken time off to heal from the passing of her mother late last year. So, when you think of Life in Christ or of Bishop & Pastor Tina, please say a prayer for her healing.
